The company was established in 1942 and it was intially confined to trading activities in engineering goods. In 1962/63 the company entered into collaboration with Crofts for manufacturing of various elements of Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment such as Worm Reduction Gears, Spur Gear Boxes, and Variable speed Devices, Flexible Coupling and Drives. It has been a Pioneer in its field and is presently a leading manufacturer of Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment in India. Today, more than 48 years of our continued bussiness, one would find a large population of CPEC gear boxes existing across the various manufacturing units in the country.

Our Predecessors in this Company have made the CPEC name synonymous with quality of gearboxes. We're dedicated to not only preserving, but also building upon and expanding this tradition of excellence into the future.
